The largest food truck in Europe
and our role in this amazing project
The owner of the Marathon brand developed a concept to create the largest food truck in Europe on a two-element truck set.
In its assumptions, it was to perform several functions: a mobile restaurant for Marathon employees (with a permanent headquarters in the Marathon Logistics Hub) and an event food truck as an attraction for large events (e.g. international concerts or WOŚP).

Concept preliminary
In the initial phase, we presented two conceptual lines, maintaining the Marathon brand colors but adding characteristic elements, different from the visual style of the Marathon brand. In the first line, we focused on a black background with white and yellow additions, using large, strong design elements. In the second line, we tried to use a yellow background and illustrated elements related to the “roadside food truck” kitchen.
Final concept of the food truck from the outside
The concept ultimately chosen by the Owner is a kind of mix of two concept lines. The yellow color distinguishes the food truck from the sets “working on routes”, which were designed in black. Both illustrations and large slogans appear on the external elements of the casing.
Designs and visualizations of food truck interiors
Together with the Owner of the company, we completed conceptual, functional and technical designs of the interiors. We also prepared 3D visualizations to illustrate the assumptions for the contractors. We started with conceptual sketches, and then based on them, we made preliminary visualizations of the interiors (we used elements of metal mesh inspired by modern restaurant kitchens). You can see the final effects of the interior design in the photorealistic visualizations below.
Technical projects and grids
At the request of the contractors, we designed preliminary grids according to the technical guidelines provided by the Manufacturers. Usually, this stage remains in the hands of the Contractor because he knows the production capabilities of the machines he has best.
Menu and additional projects
The last but not least important element was designing a menu for our mobile restaurant. In terms of graphic design, we linked the designs to the exterior design of the food truck.
