PolPlan
Branding process for the Polish leader in the production of lightweight tent halls.
ABOUT POLPLAN
Polplan is a global family business with over 40 years of experience in the production of marquees, adapted to the needs of various industries. All halls are designed individually for each client, allowing for flexibility in creating additional production, storage, event and other space, depending on the needs.
Project Goals and Strategic Work
After 40 years, it was time to change the branding and precisely define the brand identity. Due to the expansion of the company’s operations and plans to create separate sub-brands, it was also necessary to define the brand architecture. Our goal was to change the visual identification to one that would be “time-resistant” and would serve for the next 10-15 years. As part of the strategic work, we defined the identity, created a unique visual style for the main brand and the group’s sub-brands.
Creation of the brand mark and KV
When designing the logo and visual concept, our goal was to show the brand values, i.e. flexibility, precision, professionalism, responsibility and energy. The logo had to be technical, expressive and strong. At the same time, we cared about symbolism: perfectly matching elements of the logo were to represent the possibilities of adapting to the customer’s needs.
subbrand architecture
Polplan operates in three areas on the Polish market: halls, tarpaulins, transport. Moreover, due to its international reach, it also has foreign branches. That is why it was important to develop a visually coherent system of sub-brands.
We based the architecture on a model of descriptors that adapt the main brand to specific areas of activity or markets. The main brand message, regardless of the descriptor, was to be the same. Visually, all brand messages were to look very similar – the recipient should immediately know that they come from the same sender.
Utility projects not only for the sales department
We translated the visual concept into a set of utility materials for use in the company’s current operations.
Edge materials and utility materials are elements that salespeople and other Polplan employees use every day. It was also important to develop the marking of spaces and vehicles so that the new visual identification would be present in every element.
Corporate stationery Package for Everyday Use
The daily work of Polplan salespeople and account managers involves contacts: both face-to-face meetings and e-mail exchanges, sending documentation and offers. That is why we have created a complete set of stationery for them: business card designs, letterheads and envelopes, notebooks and an e-mail footer template, consistent with the new visual identification of the brand.
Offer catalog and sales package
Since Polplan’s core business is the construction of marquees, it was also necessary to create an image catalog that would present all the types of marquees the company can offer its clients in an attractive way. The catalog was to be in printed form so that it could be used during face-to-face meetings, which often also take place in the field.
vehicle markings
Polplan vehicles are a medium that we could not ignore. Due to the fact that the company uses 3 types of vehicles in its operations: passenger cars for salespeople, vans for servicemen and trucks for transporting a hall of materials, we have created coherent designs for each of them.
Sales in social media
Polplan is a leader in the production of tent halls, an expert with 40 years of experience, and this is exactly what we want to show in social media.
We have created a communication strategy in individual social media channels, and we have also developed branding for profiles and graphic lines of entries, consistent with the new visual identification.
codification or
brand book and brandguide
The culmination of our work on branding is the development of documents that are useful in the daily work of the marketing team and enable efficient implementation of the new identification.
Brand book – a collection of key information on the construction and use of the brand logo
Brandguide – a guide to the brand explaining the way of thinking graphically and building layouts, thanks to which graphic designers will be able to maintain a consistent image of the Polplan brand for years.
