Supermemo
Rebranding of the educational brand - a network of language schools
Task and strategic goals
Supermemo is a brand that is a symbol of innovation in language learning and has created its own, unique learning methodology. It has been successfully operating on the market for 25 years, selling courses in boxed, digital (online application and website) and stationary (language schools) form. Our task was to unify the identification system of a group of brands with an extensive matrix along with the development of a unique visual style.
New Logotype and Key Visual
Together with the Owner and the Supermemo marketing team, we conducted research and analysis of the brand’s initial situation. We started the work by refreshing the logo. We decided to leave the symbol, i.e. “a head full of ideas” and focus solely on improving the visual layer.
A characteristic element of KV was the use of icons (youthful, vivid colors; symbols related to learning a language, e.g. headphones and iPod) and creating mosaics from them. We used the mosaics in various ways, including as symbols of a given language (Big Ben, Brandenburg Gate) or the type/type of course.
Unique packaging concept
When designing the packaging, we had to face several challenges. A large amount of important information, including language, level of advancement, consistency with KeyVisual, adjustment to student groups, and course format (flashcards, CDs, etc.) – all had to find their place.
Design of materials for everyday use
Presentation, leaflet, collateral – we designed with the Wow effect and consistency with KeyVisual in mind. We focused on using brand-specific elements in a creative way while maintaining usability.
Clickable prototype and website design
We have designed websites and language learning applications. We have designed over 70 unique and detailed views in total.
