Adaptations of promotional campaigns and language versions of cereal packaging
About cooperation with the Nestle concern
For over 5 years we have worked for the Nestle Group for its various brands. We have implemented digital campaigns supporting sales as well as designed packaging for breakfast cereals (Nestle CPP), soups and spices (Nestle Winiary) and spices and ketchups (Nestle Torchin Ukraina).
Nestle 14 days
In 2008-2010, before the era of celebrities such as Ewa Chodakowska or Anna Lewandowska, we developed a unique concept for Nestle supporting the sale of fitness flakes – 14 days.
What was the 14 days campaign about?
The 14 days program was the first interactive project in Poland in which women could download a diet (containing fitness flakes as a full meal) and a set of exercises to their mobile devices. The substantive partner of the campaign was the Vitalia website, which specializes in healthy eating.
During the campaign, users could use a virtual calorie calculator, print their 14-day refrigerator diet calendar, schedule an online expert consultation or take part in a motivational competition. On the first day after the project was launched… the servers almost got blocked – diets were downloaded from the website over 30,000 times, which was a huge overload for the technology at the time.
The effects of the campaign were so spectacular that we were asked to prepare an adaptation of the campaign for 6 countries, including: the Baltic countries, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania.
International Packaging
Spiderman / Madagascar / Discovery
For Nestle CPP, we designed adaptations of packaging for international campaigns for several years, including packaging for the film Madagascar 2, the Discovery campaign, and the Spiderman film. Contrary to appearances, this task is very difficult, because the space on the obverse and reverse is strictly limited by construction rules and detailed conceptual work is necessary to achieve the expected goal.
Great satisfaction occurs when an entire shelf in a cereal store presents the effects of our work :).
Seed Campaign for home cooking
We also developed a campaign concept for Nestle CPP, the aim of which was to add a sachet of seeds for home herb cultivation as a free gift when purchasing flakes. Sowing instructions appeared on the front of the packages. The campaign covered practically the entire line of products for adults, i.e. Frutina, Cheerios, Gold Flakes and Corn Flakes.
HoReCa packaging for Nestle Winiary
Working with the Nestle concern, we also implemented a label project for HoReCa packaging. The projects were not spectacular due to the specifics of the industry, but they required attention and defining clear and legible rules for presenting information for users.
Nestle Torchin Ukraine
As part of the Nestle group, we also worked for several years with the Torchin brand (the equivalent of the Polish brand Winiary). Our tasks include designing product lines for the Ukrainian market, including spices and meat mixes, ketchups, etc.
The challenge in this project was to adapt our design style to the specifics and tastes of Ukrainian customers. Eastern design is rich, full of additions and “glitters” – completely different from the clean and ascetic European design.
